RESIT-Script (Kierann)

Script

In our film opening there is little dialogue. This is to build up the tension in which we are trying to make in the film opening so that the audience are interested in what’s going to happen after the film opening. We are following what many mainstream films do and that is creating a "hook" in the introduction which entices the viewers to carry on watching the film. To make sure that they do not lose focus, we have included some dialogue to keep them interested. However, the dialogue we have used is short and snappy to keep the viewers on the edge of their seat, keeping them interested. Here is what we have got.

Man: Bank transfer?

Man: Where’s my money?

This activity will help us when we get to the filming stage as we will be able to know straight away what we want our actors to say instead of thinking of what to do on the spot.
