The re-make (Chris & Kierann)

We are going to re-make an already existing film opening. The reason that we are going to do this is because it will help us when we go to make our opening in many ways:

Titles
If we go and re-create a film opening it means that we can get an idea of how the titles should properly look and how we would incorporate them into our own opening. This is something that we feel would be really important when it comes to the final film as you need to make sure that the titles are in the correct order and that they are where they should be.

What clips are commonly used
As we are going to re-create our film opening based generally on an already existing opening so that we aren't 're-inventing the wheel' means that we can get our own to look as professional and as real as possible. If we go and re-create an already existing product it means that we can get our own to look semi-professional. We can also see how an peopling should properly be setup. For a film in the genre we are going to pick for our own film - RomCom/Action we can see that they use a lot of shots showing the surroundings and objects on the table.

For some research into film openings and how they should properly be created we were set the task of choosing a film opening to re-create. As a group me (Christopher) and Kierann chose to do "Drive" 2011. The aim of this was to learn how to properly add titles onto the piece and in the correct order. This will come to help us when we start to create our final film intro piece.
