Our Chosen genre
we chose to have a hybrid genre of RomCom Action. with all three being as strong as each other instead of being a sub genre. the reason why we chose this genre is because we looked into the top 10 genres on IMDB and we found that Romance, Comedy and action were all on the top 10 genre list. We believed that if we combined all of these genres together in one film, will be able to attract a larger open audience. It would combine two large audiences. Young couples from the ages of 16 to mid/late 30's and women of most ages.
By doing this post it'll help us when we are making our film opening. This is because it will make us think how we will show the genres in the film opening and as we are a hybrid genre we will need to find a way to incorporate all of the genres we are including.
